How to apply for a learner’s licence online

1. Access the Official Website

  • Go to the official Parivahan Sewa website at Parivahan. This is the official portal of the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways of India.

2. Select ‘Online Services’

  • On the homepage, click on the ‘Online Services’ section available in the main menu.

3. Choose ‘Driving Licence Related Services’

  • Navigate to ‘Driving Licence Related Services’.

4. Select Your State

  • Choose the state in which you reside from the drop-down menu. This is important as the process may vary from state to state.

5. Click on ‘Apply for Learner’s Licence’

  • Find and select the ‘Apply for Learner’s Licence’ option. This will direct you to the application form.

6. Fill Out the Application Form

7. Upload Required Documents

11. Visit the Regional Transport Office (RTO) if Required

12. Receive Your Learner’s Licence
