How to Check RC Parivahan Status

The Parivahan portal, managed by the Ministry of Road Transport & Highways in India, offers a convenient way to check your vehicle’s RC (Registration Certificate) status.

Here’s a detailed step-by-step guide to help you check your RC status using the official Parivahan website:

Step 1: Visit the Parivahan Sewa Website

Open your web browser and go to the official Parivahan Sewa website: Parivahan Sewa.

Step 2: Click on “Online Services”

On the homepage, find the “Online Services” section.

From the drop-down menu, click on “Vehicle Related Services”.

Step 3: Select “Know Your Vehicle Details”

After clicking on “Vehicle Related Services,” you will be redirected to a new page.

Here, you’ll find various options. Select “Know Your Vehicle Details”, which will allow you to check the RC status of your vehicle.

Step 4: Enter Your Vehicle Registration Number

On the new page, you’ll be prompted to enter your vehicle registration number in the provided field.

Ensure you enter the registration number exactly as it appears on your RC, without any errors.

Step 5: Enter the Captcha Code

Complete the captcha verification by entering the characters displayed in the image on the screen.

This ensures that only legitimate users can access the system.

Step 6: Click on “Search Vehicle”

After entering the registration number and captcha, click on the “Search Vehicle” button.

The system will fetch your vehicle’s RC status, displaying key information such as the registration date, owner details, registration validity, and more.

Step 7: Review the RC Status

Once the details are retrieved, the page will show your vehicle’s RC status, including information like the vehicle’s make and model, engine number, chassis number, and the validity of your registration.
